International storytelling artist, Angela Davis, the Yarnspinner spins tales of creative adventure to audiences around the world. Angela's most popular program "Swamp Party," is always in demand. This family concert offers a spicy gumbo of Louisiana folklore flavored with Cajun dialect, intergenerational characters and ?story souvenirs' to motivate reading and create a memorable storytelling journey everyone remembers.
Certified teacher and national arts consultant, Ms. Davis provides educational guides and other creative educational resources correlated with the National Standards for the Arts emphasizing social themes and cultural diversity.
The recipient of various awards and arts in education grants, Angela is the Sr. Editor and creator of STORY SUCCESS newsletter, distributed monthly to members of the National Storytelling Network providing practical tips for artist to achieve unprecedented success. She performs year round reaching over 100,000 children annually and recently released her latest CD: "International Peace Tales Festival" and "Swamp Party" video!
